My Work

This is where I'll be updating with my best edits and animations. Each video highlights a different aspect of my work as a post-production specialist. If there's a specific role you need filled, I try to show a wide variety of work to show all the things I can help you with.

Gaming Addiction PSA

I was the primary creative lead on this project. I handled both directing and producing, I wrote the script and storyboard myself, and took care of all post-production work including the voiceover. I used Premiere Pro to edit everything, and the graphics at the end were also animated in Premiere Pro as well.

Originally a submission for the SkillsUSA Television Video Production competition, a partner and I made this from a prompt we were given, where we presented it at a statewide event. He took care of the videography and camera work, but everything else was done by me. Filmed on a Canon DSLR.

DMPT Lab Promo

I was given the opportunity to help produce a video for my school's Design and Media Production degree program to be presented as a grant submission. We had very short notice, so this was all created in less than 24 hours. I handled all the post-production work, which included editing, color grading, sound design, and effects added. Filmed on a Canon DSLR as shown in the video.

Firewatch Parallax Animation

This piece was animated in After Effects, simulating a parallax effect using a single still promotional image. I used Photoshop to separate each individual piece of the background to make the effect more immersive. The end Firewatch logo was one I vectorized in Illustrator, and I created the flame asset myself. I also created the sound effects in the video with Audition, and the mourning dove calls were recorded out of my front yard.

Under the Sun

Made with nothing but stock footage from Pexels and Pixabay, I wanted to test myself to see what I can do with limited resources. This was primarily a color grading practice. I found every clip online for free, and I made sure to use music that wouldn't be hit with a copyright strike. I used Premiere Pro for the majority of the video, but I also used Audition to trim the song to a shorter length to make the video more impactful.

Demo Reel

This is the piece that was on the homepage. Edited primarily in Premiere Pro, I also recorded and modified the sound effects myself in Audition. Clips in the Motion Graphics section of the reel also show work I've done in After Effects. The reel focuses on my three areas of expertise; editing, animating, and color grading.

Dexter Synopsis

A project I did when I was looking forward to the show's revival, this is a sixty-second synopsis of the show Dexter. Created and edited in Premiere Pro, the video uses clips and music from the show, and is presented with the tone of being a way to get people interested in the series. The font used for the timer is also the same font used in the show's title.

Logo Intro Animation

This is the logo animation I created as an intro to all my other projects, as a way to show my part in working on it. I animated all the movement and effects in After Effects. I used Illustrator to design and create my own vector logo from scratch, and the music was modified and edited in Audition as to fall under fair use.
